Environmental and Ethical Purchasing Policy

In our office

~ We recycle our own waste including paper, magazines, newspapers and food containers

~ We limit the use of heating and air conditioning, instead preferring fresh air by opening windows

~ We try to be a paperless office

~ Plus we cycle to work or catch public transport when visiting clients

~ We turn off lights and computers when they are not in use

Our packaging

~ Our eco gift boxes are made from recycled material and can be reused, making great storage boxes or to use when you next need to wrap a gift

~ Our gift tags are printed on recycled board

~ Our ribbon is reusable

~ We reuse boxes and packaging filler that comes from our suppliers

~ When extra packaging is required we use biodegradable starch chips that completely dissolve in water

~ We try to hand deliver gifts if there is a member of staff that lives close by

When we buy

~ We buy from Australian owned companies, producing Australian made products, wherever possible

~ Where we can’t buy Australian made, we look for certified Fairtrade producers, making sure the workers are paid a fair price for their labour

~ We support local, Australian organic producers

~ We shop at farmers markets, always looking for exciting new products from local producers and ways that we can limit our carbon footprint from transport
